The City of Toronto has extended the cancellation of City-led and City-permitted outdoor special events through to December 31.

Nuit Blanche

The 15th annual Nuit Blanche Toronto will be reimagined for a virtual experience on Saturday, October 3 starting at 7 p.m. until October 12. This year, North America’s largest free contemporary art event will be delivered in a special digital format to ensure the safety of attendees and artists during the COVID-19 pandemic.

ShowLoveTO

Toronto is ready to welcome us back. From hitting the patio to supporting local art, restaurants and shops, it’s time to get out and do the things we love.

Other City-produced Events

The City of Toronto has extended the cancellation of City-led and City-permitted outdoor major events through December 31 and all outdoor special event permits during this time period are cancelled. This includes festivals and other large gatherings held at outdoor sites managed by the City or other public locations, such as roads, parks and Civic Squares. It does not include professional sporting events, outdoor sporting facility permits or park permits.

The City is committed to working with event organizers to mitigate the impacts of these cancellations and to determine potential future dates once it is safe to do so.
